weird about your browser. There's a new search bar, new buttons and all sorts
of add-ons that you don't remember installing. You check the web address and
see the words MyWay.MyWebSearch or MyWay next to the search bar. This annoying
adware won't necessarily harm your PC, but it can slow it down and affect your
browsing experience.
What Is My Way? My Web Search?
MyWay is a search engine developed by Mindspark Interactive
Network in 2002. It was initially designed to replicate many of Yahoo's popular
features. This program was also known as MyWay Search Assistant,
MyWay.MyWebSearch or MyWay speed bar.
Thousands of internet users have had this software installed
without their consent. For this reason, MyWay.MyWebSearch was classified as a
potentially unwanted program, malware or spyware. It's not only intrusive but
also extremely difficult to remove. Once installed, it displays malicious ads
that can infect your computer and steal your data.
Furthermore, this program changes your default search engine
and homepage. It also leaves your PC vulnerable to malware and uses cookies
that track your personal information, which may lead to identity theft. That's

Uninstall My Web Search From Your Computer
The first thing you can do is to uninstall MyWay.MyWebSearch
from your computer. If you're using Windows, access your Control Panel, select
Uninstall a Program and then right-click MyWebSearch – Uninstall.
Next, open Google Chrome, select Tools – Extensions from the
menu icon in the top right corner and delete any add-ons associated with
MyWay. Select Manage Search Engines and set Google or another program as your
default search engine.
Firefox users can remove MyWebSearch by clicking Add-ons –
Extensions in the top-right menu and then disabling this program. If you're
using Safari, access the main menu; select Preferences and click Extensions.
Remove any suspicious applications and set your homepage to Google.com,
Yahoo.com or other search engines.

Some add-ons associated with MyWebSearch can infect your
computer and cannot be removed manually. If that's your case, consider using

installed on your computer through MyWebSearch.
